Its hard to believe Feld didnt make sure at least Malcolm Stewart had a ride for 2017. NASCAR would kill for some talented African Americans.

Feld had both Stewarts and while James sitiuation is somewhat his fault, to not make sure the defending 250 East coast SX Champion, who happens to be black, and had deversified an all white bread sport, does not have a quality ride for 2017 is a big fail on the entire industry.

Did you just come out of a week long stupor in your safe place? Not everything is about the color of ones skin. Maybe layoff the CNN and MSNBC for a week or two and see if you feel better.

Yeah, like the promoters in SX give a fuck about anything but their bank balance.

There is literally a DICKLOAD of things they could do to help all the riders, the teams, the fans, least of all one of many talented dudes struggling to find a ride this year.

Interesting, Feld does own a few of the Monster truck teams in their Monster Jam series... seems plausible they could put a team or two together for SX if they felt the need to.

However, I would never want that need to be race-based.

Dumbgeon material I suppose but interesting idea if not for the racial tone.

I'm not saying that op is right and feld should write a check for a diversity hire, but feld had been writing checks to get Vicki Golden to the races when she was trying to make mains. Feld isn't opposed to helping out someone they think will get them some attention or put some diversity on the line.

Putting together a full race team, well that's a different story.

Feld and the most powerful person in MX Todd Jendro should have made sure Mookie had a ride with an existing team. Malcolm appeals to a wider audience than your typical stale white bread podium. Play the race card, just as Vickie Golden played the womens card. Either way it brings more interest and diversity to the sport. And more money to Feld through more eyeballs and sponsor money.
