As a guy in a wheelchair, I can tell you that he is absolutely amazing! I've rode a bike after being paralyzed and it sucks, I feel like crap in the turns, but he hauls the mail. Doug is unreal. Rock on buddy.
Hey guys, thanks for the props on the video. For the guy who said there should be a movie.....let's just say I have something still in pre-production, but in the works. I can't tell you what an honor it was to shoot and edit this video...the dude simply hauls ass and I get chills everytime I watch a clip.

No disrespect intended. But honestly, Doug Henry's story is much bigger than the Motocross, motorcycle and extreme sports industry. His is a story that should be told to the masses.
From the very beginning of what he had to go through to be a professional motocrosser, to the determination it took to be a champion, to the adversity that he had to overcome to return back to racing let alone winning more championships to where he is today and what he is overcoming. I'm sorry, you can't type a rundown on Doug Henry without making it a huge run on sentence and I cut it short. That is my point. Rocky was a made up Hollywood story and it doesn't even begin to hold a candle to Doug Henry's true life story. He is a champion in life. His story should be told to the masses. Many people that don't know the first thing about Motocross would be so fortunate to be inspired by Doug Henry's story.
To me, Doug Henry is not only a living legend but a hero. I have no doubt in my mind that Dough Henry is an unknown, unheralded hero to millions that have never had the chance to be inspired by his story.
I hope whoever does a story, documentary, book ect. has the vision, backing and desire to take his story to the masses.

Scroll down on that site. There's also another really awesome 5 minute video of his career in the 250 2-stroke class.
I'm starting to think he is immortal or something. Nothing can stop him!
Another guy with huge fighting spirit.

Thanks for posting it.
Great to see him riding again.
amazing talent and one helluva nice guy.
Has anyone heard how his wife is doing?
If I remember right, she came down with cancer I think after Doug hurt himself again.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
