Then the ultimate Mini Bike dad got Lawyers and Cops involved before Colorado, AMA stepped in and put an end to it.
Can anyone really expect Mike to do better with all the extra drama that goes on ? it's insanity.
i think he is going to get a rather frosty reception to the two NZ rounds of the Super X series this year that run here in NZ
Tell Ben, next time don't warn them just get er done and deny it.
...........and to think I was actually becoming a Mike Alessi fan last year..............I'll bet 75% of the industry just wishes that family would go away.
Pit Row
So with that in mind, Tony told their agent (who happens to be a lawyer) about it and the agent drafted a letter (no doubt using the legalese terms of "liable" and "action will be taken") saying that the AMA should keep an eye on BT and Mike because there is now an implied threat of violence.
So if something happens, Townley will be punished accordingly because something done in the heat of the moment often isn't looked at as bad as something where there was intent.
So, the question is, what did BT tell Mike? That is the crux of this and only four people know for sure what Ben said.
I'm the first guy to criticize the Alessi's for their, ummm, actions but in this case, I think much is being made of nothing. The agent happens to be a lawyer (imagine that in this sport!) so that's where this thing started.
Can't wait for Red Bud!
This action against BT is just another desperate attempt to do what they can't seem to do on track and that's beat the competition straight up, petty politics dont belong in Motocross.
I am holding hope out that his 350 will continue to get it's ass worked on the starts and the kid has to work his way forward. That will build real confidence and strength. Getting the start and fading just makes you scared, paranoid and desperate.
