Spectacular herlings as always, he's super human in the sand. I wish I could watch Him ride valkenswaard next week

Really hoping anstie can start to pull it together, we know he has the speed, just not had the best start to the season. I think he had a dnf in first race?

He usually laps those guys. Very thin field on Herlings home soil. Surprising tho that 2-4 didn't put up more of a fight. Anstie 1:56 behind, did he pull in for a cup of earl grey?

He won first moto by 58 seconds over Tonkov, lapping 13th place finisher Robert Justs.

In the 450 class, Bobrysev won moto 1 with 32 seconds over Townley and he also won moto 2 with 11 seconds over Bengtsson and 54 over Kullas, lapping 12th place finisher Marc De Reuver.

Great to see all the pro's at my old local track 10 minutes away from me! - video by MotocrossPlanet

Herlings sure is killing it so far this year, good sand practice for Valkenswaard GP in a few weekends!

It was a deep and stacked field there in Axel and indeed Herlings blown them all out of the water. But whats more of a suprise is the fact that Josiah Natzke couldn't qualify for the races. The KTM Factory pilot was 11 seconds slower then his team Jeffrey Herlings. ::CLICK MYLAPS::

In the 125cc class was it a surprise to see that young kids, straight in their first big outing at the international level, were fighting with the top guns like Jago Geerts, Roan v/d Moosdijk, Marcel Conijn, ... Mikkel Haarup even won with a 2-1 score before Jago Geerts (1-2) and then on third we saw Junior Yamaha rider Rick Elzinga. Zach Pichon finished 11th, but it is so cool to see that this young kid doesn't choose to race the French championship, but that he chooses to race the Dutch Championship to become a great sand rider too.

How old is haarup? 14?
He's gonna be a big name in a few years, I'm sure. I saw him at the german 85cc races, he was like half a meter shorter than the rest of the field and still smoked them
He also did races in the US a few years ago I believe

Most of those kids are on their way to becoming 15, because that the main reason why they switched to 125. Because the European rule stated that you can only compete European 85 Championship till 14 year. But that delivers some funny pictures. You've got two 14 year old boys and then a boy who already got most of his growing done.

Yesterday I had dinner with a couple of friends that have raced ONK series. They told me they are the closest they have been to hell in their lifes. Way worse than racing a GP in Lommel or Lierop. No wonder he dominates there.

That's exactly what I thought earlier.

Back in 2010. Wonder how far Herlings will make it compared to these to guys.

Sand bagging or not. I doubt Roczen or Musquin would touch him around that track.

Why can't you guys just accept what he is doing and how fast he actually is ? Who gives a shit what Ken and Marvin are doing, there all extremely talented riders so just appreciate it !

I didn't say a word about him sandbagging or not accepting what he does.
Simply that I wonder how far he will make it compared to Ken and Marvin.

And yes he would smoke both these guys around that track, he would probably smoke everyone on this planet around a sand track.

When you say "make it " what do you mean ?

Jeffrey may never go to USA full time does that mean that he isn't going to make it ?

It's like comparing Cairoli to Dungey or Carmichael. In my eyes all those guys have " made it "

No hate intended by the way

Herlings will never compare to these guys unless he comes here to the US. He likes to stay the big fish in a little pond.
Bring him here and he'll learn what a challenge is. Looking at that list of results the only other name I recognized was Anstie. Everyone else is a nobody. He has NO COMPETITION! Its not that he's that much better, it's that the rest of them suck.

Tell Dungey that Tonkov the guy who beat him for the nations classification in 2014 is a nobody Whistling
Several other top guys on that list as well. The fact that you don't know that doesn't mean they suck...

Damn you probably watch a lot of MX2 racing if Max Anstie is the only name you recognize. Thomas Covington your fellow countrymen couldn't even finish in the top 20, so saying there was no competition is a bit harsh.

Okay, I'll bite. You do know the guy in second who you call a nobody finished in front of J-Mart in MXdN in 2014 right? Kjaer Olsen and Seewer was in front of A-Mart.

Also, Herlings is five years younger than Musquin, he's got plenty of time.

He wont compare? Thats just retarded.

Your last sentence takes away your ability to be taken seriously in any future GP threads. I wonder if the guy who is posted in second knows he sucks, I mean he must, he beat the US guys in the MXdNs

By continuing to ride the small bike class after finishing 6th, 2nd and then dominating it for two more years.

Post a reply to: Domination? You bet it is.
