I said 2 weeks in a row he would make a statement.. another performance like last week and tomac could possibly leave with the red plate.. does Rodger D start to press dungey a little more?

Press him more? You mean like, "Ryan I think you should start trying now!"?
Give me a break.

Dungey definitely made a statement the last few weeks, so you were correct!

I just hope he doesn't go down trying. That would ruin what is about to be an interesting championship.

That said, I think he loses the points lead this weekend.

I still think Ryan isn't going to push past his comfort zone, even if he loses the red plate. He's counting on a bad finish for Tomac...and if not, oh well. Finishing 2nd in the championship and being safe, is way better than the route roczen took.

RD will lose the points lead over the next 3 rounds and then with 2 rounds left (Utah?) Eli will get caught in a first turn pile up that will leave his bike disabled and Eli will go into Vegas down by 14 points.... RD will win the championship and those haters that do not kill themselves will learn how to spell asterisk and use it every time they post ....forever.....

The real question is "will RD do whatever it takes to win?" My bet is no. I don't think any recent past champion would have let davi lead him around for 6 laps. I think RV, JS or CR would have made something within 1 lap (if in that position), and would have lived with the outcome no matter what. Very few times in RDs career has he had the "whatever it takes" attitude

For me I think It would be cool to have Eli get the red plate at round 16 by 1 pt but dunge wins vagas and the title

But I'm a Dunge fan soo ya

I'm starting to wonder if we have Marvin in front of dungey again if team orders will come into play and Marvin to let him by...I sure hope we don't.

dungey already made a statement, just not a positive one for him. tomac is just on another level. I honestly like to see tomac win the championship, simply because he was the better rider this year.

Dungey has been a different dude out there since the Roczen crash. not taking anything away from Tomac because he's killing it.

Yep not lookin good for ole dun-G. Maybe he's just trying to give us all the chase we all wanted to see. Slow it down. Let Tomac catch up. Then let it loose! Haha

i'll agree with that, but i'll also stand by my opinion that Dungey has been different. he and Roczen beat the field by large margins. now he's struggling to pass Millsapps and Musquin is giving him all he can handle.

still pulling for Dungey to win it this year

How true your statement is!

Sarcasm alert! May be Dungey is letting Tomac get close so he can steel the championship with only 2 wins just to piss off the haters. Ya thats it.

You can tell by the look in RD eyes that he doesn't have anything for Tomac. He knows that if he pushes it too hard he's going to hit the deck! He's already accepted his fate.

I heard that with the circus out of town, Feld backed a dump truck full of money up to Dungey's house to keep supercross interesting and give up his points lead.

That's the thing...or..."things"...lets go back to A2...

KR had his stuff TOGETHER EARLY. However, I don't recall him running away from very one at A2 like he had the previous week's.

Eli was starting to get epic lap times already; but, was still getting mediocre starts (or terrible) and taking waaaaaay too long to move thru the pack. His chassis wasn't as good as it is now, either.

Ryan has commented on KR's crash in such a way that we're all pretty sure it's affected him. But, his smooth riding technique and focused methods and ability to "hold back" have ALWAYS been there and it's WHY he's pulled off so many titles: the guy is just "smart".

Marvin: he gets paid to win. "Team Orders" would cost him money. Period. We've seen Marvin battle Ryan as hard/harder than anyone-else. I'm of the belief that Ryan has more to worry about than just Marvin.

The winner lines up with 21 other guys. On his WORST night, only 3 have them have beat Ryan. From here on out...that has to end. He can only afford 2 nights off of the Top Step and he has to be 2nd on those nights. Or...if Chaos Theory kicks in and he and Eli BOTH have some "Crazy Nights"? Well, then the whole conversation we're having here goes OUT THE DOOR and Marvin is "in play"...

Hence, Marvin focuses on winning. In Marvin's World: there are 125 Championship Points out there and he's 47 points back.

Period.

I think part of it is the 20 minute motos. He seems gassed the last 4 minutes, even tho he's still rolling his being able to go anywhere when he wants to seems reduced.

It seems that Dungey needs a turnock or a crash by Tomac or he will bleed out. All kidding aside as bad as it has been for Dungey he still has the points lead which makes him incharge of his destiny. Although the fat lady is warming up her voice she has not began to sing.

People who don't think Kenny's crash effected Ryan are delusional. Let's look at the big picture. Not taking anything into account, Ryan is most likely in the last 2-3years of his career just based on age. Now, the facts are, he has made a shit ton of money, and is as healthy as you can get as far as MX racers go. With him breaking his neck last year, team mate Jessy Nelson paralyzed, and ex team mate Roczen nearly losing his arm, Ryan no doubt is thinking "why risk the future of a healthy life (60+ more years) for the chance to win another title. He already has won everything there is to win and to possibly end up spending the rest of his life in a chair or not being able to ride bikes with his kids has made him ride within his means. I have no doubt in my mind that he has another 10% or so he could click it up, and if this was a different situation, and he was going for his 1st championship, he would probably kick it up that extra 10%. But looking at the big picture, why risk it? I sure as hell wouldn't.
