Well, with Dungey retired, and Roczen out for the year, does Tomac get asterisk if he wins the championship ?

Well for all of you who didn't get the humor in this, lets think about Ryan Dungey has to be judged with the last few years ? Let's make sure the threads for Tomac are appropriate, right ?

You could say the same for Dungey, Stewart, and Reed. You line up to race whoever is out there, the rest is out of your control.

He's faster than Dungey and historically when he's clicking, he's faster than Roczen too

I don't think you can even call this a perfect season so far because he crashed in the first moto and barely led any laps in the second moto.

Well to be fair Tomac was 30+ seconds behind Ken and Ryan at this race last year. He's got a great shot at it tho this year. No asterisks in racing!

It's not his fault once he healed up and got things dialed Dungey was smart enough to hang it up. If only Roczen didn't wreck that arm we would have a truly epic outdoor season!

Great thread. Serious. Everyone has been giving RD asterisks for years when the other top guys were injured/out. Why not Tomac.

Yeah but he was obviously struggling. To also be fair he was a minute and a half ahead of Dungey the year before
