"Short Chutes"

That's a new one from Tuesday night I believe. And "Must Situation" is a good one. Honestly he's done really well this year. I like him and Todd Harris does pretty good too.

Although I'd prefer these two.

You mean "Ricky Repeat?" I always wondered if there was a double meaning to the woodpecker he ran on his radiator shrowd. One of the absolute greatest riders ever, but announcing, not so much.

Can't believe it hasn't been mentioned, but just about every weekend someones tactic is to rev their engine and scare the rider outta position. Not lappers either, riders actually battling one another.

My 18yo son (who has been racing since he was 3) calls them “hay bails” and I’m pretty sure he has never been on a track with them. This is gratifying proof that he listens to what I say. Lol

I feel like "Joe Public" would be even more confused than us, though. Ricky has some truly strange turns of phrase. If you didn't know he was the sport's GOAT, you'd wonder how the hell he even got that job in the first place.

I have the opposite feeling with RC. He’s always talking about championship management and my recollection of him was being balls out win at all costs.

But I guess if you win as many titles as he did, you had to have some great race craft and patience. But damn. If that’s what he did when he was managing titles....

“Up the inside”. Says that at least 25 times a night. Once last night he used it 4 times in one damn sentence. We just shake our heads now when he says it. Next race I am gonna count how many times he uses it. If I can count that high.

RC I’m getting used to, but If I hear the other clown say residency one more time, I’m cutting the sound for sure.

Lol. Look man. I think the announcing has still been better this year and I’ll leave it at that

Another classic RC line is "That's not gonna age well" instead of that's not going to sit well lol.

Honestly, Ricky bugged me when he first started out, but I find him, and his frequent malapropisms, strangely endearing now.

The main difference between Emig and Ricky is that Emig was able to shelf his bias. When Ricky learns to do this he will be much better.
