He didnt start riding the american series after he won his first world title like Roczen?
He has had some major injuries and could have been even bigger if they happened on an SX track, but i gotta wonder if he hasnt beaten himself up about not going over the pond considering how many titles he has lost that was in his grasp.

Just a thought that occured when he posted that SX video of himself

Tough question, but he has to be one of the best paid riders in the world right now. So I'm not sure. I think that at one point you have to make a choice and stick with it. He did. Choice was obviously Europe and he had great success. However, he could have had like 4/5 more titles if he was a little smarter at certain points in his career. But that also makes him such a great winner, he hates losing races even though he can afford to do so and still win titles with it.

On the other hand, what Phil says. How would Roczen his career have been if he did stick with MXGP? He also is one of the best paid riders.. and has had his fair share of success in-between those horrific injuries

If he really dreamt of going to the states....he would have gone.
I think he is content with his choices.

And I would say the same applies to Roczen

More money, less(meaningful) races. Why should he?

He will sooner regret that outfit than anything else.

The paint job on that Lambo. Yes it’s in style now, but so where zipper pants. Could be costly fashion error on such a beautiful machine. But I’m sure he will be able to recoup. Only regrets I could see he may have.

As soon as Roczen left Europe Herlings became the crown prince of the GPs. He has dominated the headlines ever since so I’d say from that perspective no. When he retires I’m sure he will explain it all honestly why he stayed.

More than likely it’s a full body wrap. When he gets tired of it or wants to sell it he’ll just peel it off.

I’ve always heard the top guys in the US get paid better then the guys in the GPS. Maybe cause our season is longer
