Eli and chase have had some hard battles, but have kept it ultra clean throughout it all.

But if it comes down to it, does one of them put the other on the ground?

I don’t see it, but me personally, I would clean my grandma out for a Pro 450mx title. Time has seemed to change since the Carmichael/Reed/Stewart days. Or I guess you could throw Osborne in the mix as well.

I say they keep it clean with some good hard racing like they have all season. It’s clear the respect is there, but it damn sure would spice it up!

If chase wins moto 1 and is right behind eli with less than a lap left in moto 2. I would be surprised if he didn’t take any angle he could get on Eli, even if it puts him on the ground. That’s different than cleaning someone out needing them to finish 10th or something, and i think any racer would do it

If it were to wind up that time had ran out, and one of them had to punt the other to drink the championship champagne, I do wonder who would be willing to do what. I think Tomac is more likely to be successful in punting Sexton than Sexton would be in punting Tomac if somebody gotta be punted. I can't say why I think that, but that's my guess.

I don’t think so cause they could just as easily go down trying to take the other one out. Eli has never been that way and Chase has said how much he respects the clean way Eli races.

Everyone knows not to ride dirty with Eli on the track. 2012 Seattle SX with Dean Wilson. That was a take notice for every pro rider what happens when you mess with Eli. Dean was never the same after Eli returned the favor. Chase has a good future ahead of him. Hopefully he will not jeopardize.

Don't forget him knocking Webb down at Daytona, and then straight up admitting it 😂

When a 450 MX title is on the line no quarter is given. They may not go as hard as A-Ray and Cade going for 4th place in an LCQ but expect hard racing.

Gotta respect that about the guy. Even tho some people don’t like the bunching, it almost worked. Really the only flaw in it was he was too nice to dunge. Other than that he’s never really messed with anyone but he can give it back when needed.

I don't see it happening. Too much mutual respect to tarnish it with something cheap. I also think these riders are too talented for it and don't need to get cheap to win a title.

Ponyboy doesn't want to play that game with Eli. The others who have tried didn't like the consequences of it.

Not sawing any front wheels off, but I can see contact being made/pushing someone off the track. Like someone else said, knocking someone down for a last lap effort just to get by is different than knocking them down hoping they finish far enough back if there was more than 1 point difference.

I don’t want anyone to get hurt.. but it would be exciting if there were some fireworks!

You guys must be forgetting that these two are the backbone of your MXDN team. Punting ultimately has a 50/50 chance of someone ending up injured. I would like to see team USA take the trophy this year, so please stop the bs about punting.

The one thing no one is talking about is if Star will pull any shenanigans. Remember Star protested Chase's fuel after SLC in 2020. Is Star above lining Craig up next to Chase and having him pinch Chase off at the start a bit, not if they are smart they aren't. Not trying to crash him but put him outside the top ten off the start each moto would be ideal for Eli and Star Racing.

I'm not shitting on Star at all, they should use every legal trick in the book.
