Does anyone else see craigslist ads for someone selling a helmet and spelling it with an "n", helment?
Some scholar in a recent ad had a "Shoe Helment" for sale. (Shoei helmet)

I can let that go far quicker than seeing the "for sell" ads trying to "sale" their new bike. I see those words used wrong so much I've almost started to think I was the one wrong.

I haven't seen it much in adverts but I have had plenty of messages asking about 'helment' painting and a few about 'hemets' without the 'L' I have never been asked to paint a 'hermit' ' or a ' hermaphrodite ' thankfully.

I used to work for a guy I thought was extremely intelligent and I really respected. One day he took the liberty of using the label maker to mark the cabinets. I walked in to “motor cabinent” “suspention cabinent” and as OP said “Helments and Gear”.....
I really didn’t know what to think after that showing.

I just saw an ad that had something I don't see often, but it drives me batty, too.
New XYZ Bike...then you find out "just three tanks of gas ran through it", "runs like new", etc.

And never had an oil change, suspension serviced, expect every bearing ruined, seals leaking, exhaust in dire conditions, valves (both 2stroke/4Stroke) near ruined, coolant turned to acid and anything else they can cover up.
