Do it yourself, thats part of the fun owning a dirtbike and a time to get to know you bike intimately...when I wash and clean our bikes my eyes are all over the bike and sometimes you pick up issues which otherwise would not have been found until something breaks are fails.

One area that is often neglected are the electric. The plugs etc need to be cleaned and inspected for rust and corrosion.

I know time is a factor when having a full time job but it needs to be done.

You would be wasting your money. Use your pressure washer to clean the dirt off, then get a bucket of dish soap and water and use a brush to scrub everything, wheels etc. use simple green and scotch brite on the frame and all of the aluminum. Clean the soap off with the pressure washer. Hand dry it with a towel or micro fiber. Then spray sc1 or Lucas oil slick mist on all of the plastics and wipe it clean. Make sure you dry your wheels and and get in between the spokes. It turns out new everytime.

The ideal wash is to remove the seat, tank and radiator shrouds, that way you get to clean all the electrics and other hard to get to components. Also a great time to inspect under there and properly service and lube all plugs and wiring to prevent corrosion.

Sure it is extra work but we call it preventative maintenance. It pays in the long run.

Nothing more rewarding than getting that bike that’s covered in sand and mud, squeaky clean, ready to ride again!

Especially when a lot of people are lazy about washing their bikes and you show up with not a spec on your engine or under the rear fender Cool

When you get your dirtbike detailed make sure they put Armor All on your foot pegs and grips. And an air freshener on the bars. 👍🏼👍🏼
