I wouldn’t say one is really that much better than the other. The Cycra plastics are slightly different in shape, and some of the colors are slightly different between brands. The YZ Blue is pretty consistent across the board, though.

OEM fits the best but costs more. Personally, I use Acerbis. Never had any issues with fit or quality.

I just bought a white set of Acerbis plastic, every piece except the mud flap for $138 shipped eBay. Seems pretty close to oem. Ordered a white seat from Guts too. YZ450.

I’ve always had decent luck with Acerbis over the rest for fitment. Cycra and polisport are both good as well.

Always found polisport to be closest to OEM. But if you want best,. OEM is the only answer IMO.

I’ve been a big fan of UFO, but I’ve used just about all the top brands and don’t have a complaint across the board.

If you wait a bit you'll be able to convert to 2022 OEM bodywork. Will require at least a tank though, and maybe even a subframe? Not sure on that one. Either way pricey but new look and modern ergonomics.

Yeah I wonder if I would need a new subframe

Polisport makes the OEM plastic for all the Austrian brands as well as Honda and Yamaha. I've always been happy with the quality and durability as well as fitment. It's also the least expensive aftermarket brand. I recommend Polisport.

I've thought this until I purchased from them and the fitment was nothing close to OEM..which is only what I what buy.

Acerbis is my go to but I will say they can be difficult at first sometimes to fit at first depending on bike. Once they’re on they’re usually a bit easier to remove and reinstall.

Acerbis seems softer (scratches/gouges easier) than Austrian OEM.

I'm also an Acerbis guy. When I got my husky last year I pulled the new OEM stuff off and put on an Acerbis set and it seemed very close to the same as far as fit and finish. I've had several sets on other bikes over the years and have been happy but that was my first time that I was able to directly compare to new OEM plastic.

I’ve always been under the impression Acerbis made the KTM plastics (no experience with husky or gas gas) -what confirmed it for me is the little things like the fork guards. On the RH stock fork guard there is 3 drill markings for “High”, “standard” and “low” for the holeshot device and only the Acerbis fork guards come with them as well.

Acerbis. One of my first changes on my new bikes. Perfect fit. The durability is beyond seasonal. I can run a set for multiple seasons, but change with each new graphics. I use most of their products Handguards and Chain Blocks/sliders.

Another vote for UFO, they were perfect, and that's for a current Husky which have lots of weird and intricate moulded bits / fittings, I imagine Jap plastics with be cake for them.

The Polisport set before that were good also, no complaints and nice quality.

Before the Polisport I had Acerbis which were okay and looked sweet when new, seemed glossier if that's your thing, except the push on air filter cover / number board was a little sketchy on one of the front clips. Thought nothing of it, but my GF's KTM had the same not-quite-right fit with the same panel, so that made me dubious. Although that is an older bike where we had to swap the locating pin / clip over onto the new panel instead of it being built into the new plastic during manufacture like on newer models, so there is probably some small margin for error there which could be operator error.

The UFO stuff seemed a very very slightly better fit graphics wise for me than anything else, not that it should make a difference, but I tried both UFO and Polisport with graphics kits from the same company / same template, but yeah to stop this friggin essay, UFO or Polisport,

I can't speak for other brands as we've just always used UFO. Didn't have a reason to switch.
