You guys that own the 2010 YZF's , how do they feel compared to the 09's or 08 models? Just wondering if you can feel the difference in the way the bike rides with the motor sitting forward like that.

Anything else in the way they are designed that makes them feel "Different" compared to the other bikes out there?

Reason why is because looking at those photos of the 2011 YZF's gave me a friggin' woody!

I have had and '04, '05, '06, '07, '08, '09, '10 450s

The '04-'05 were tanks I thought the '06 was a dream machine compared to the steel frames. Then when that '08 came around and they changed something on the bottom of the frame and I could notice a better cornering on it. Now the 2010 will turn on a dime and follow a rut better then any Yamaha 450 I have ever owned!! Love it!!!

That's an awesome report Wills , thank you! If what you are saying is true , then that 2010 450 should turn on a dime! The last time i got on a bike was back in like Aug-Sept of 2006. i rode a guys newer 2007 YZF 450 and i could not believe how well that bike cornered! Compared to my CRF , it felt like i was riding on Velcro......it hooked up that well , and didn't seem to want to either push or slide in the corners. I also remember how stable it felt in long, fast rough sections.....seemed to hold itself pretty strait with not much swapping at either end.

I already went and put my money down on one of the 2008 CRF 450's ( still new ) but i'm picking it up for $4800.00 out the door. If i decide to stick with riding again , i may end up picking up one of those new 2011 yami's around spring time. I'm not sure what it is about that bike......But there is something about it , telling me to "BUY IT!"

BTW.......some people think they are ugly........I think they are a sweet looking bike! It aint about looks anyways , it's how the perform.

Thanks again Wills.
