Teillet is a bad ass, I remember seeing him at the british gp last year land a massive step down, smack his head off the handle bars stupidly hard but he kept the thing wide open and cleared the next jump which was a huge up hill quad .

I think we will be hearing more of him in the next few years.

Cool pic, but it looks Photoshopped to me. Where's his shadow? And the perspective looks all wrong. The flaggers shadow looks like it's right under the rider, but the flagger looks too far away.

Just sayin'

I think he might be higher off the ground than it actually appears.

Exactly.

It looks like the front fender is almost touching the dirt but he's probably a few feet off the ground. Its just playing tricks with your eye, his shadow would be out of shot down to the left - but its def not photoshopped.

There's a nice pic of Tonus on same jump. I'll post it lower down this page. Can't edit this post.

And there's a load more excellent pics on http://gallery.atpic.com/47482

Not sure if this scrub is from qualifying on Saturday or racing on Sunday. Nice scrub too though ...

Personally, I think that every scrub shot, (as technically difficult as it may be), makes the rider look crappy. Elbows down and all scrunched up. If someone cornered like that they'd be accused of looking like a goon.

The dog is a different story. He's got killer technique.

that's pretty damn impressive. The fraction of a second you need to throw the bars down leaving the face, at that speed; it has to be 100's of a second between hero and zero

IMHO for the scrub to be so low there has to be a pre-jump down the face..................

thanks for the further photo examples there jamma. I love those scrub pics, keep 'em coming if you got more guys. I'm trying to get excited for an atl race without Trey and Chad. I have a feeling it's just going to be a JS runaway.
