Did Marvin learn how to blitz whoops?

I saw a few clips from the race last night and I believe I saw Marvin blitzing the whoops? I did not see the whole race so please fill me in.

He didn’t learn because he’s always known how just doesn’t all the time! You can’t win as many races as he has by jumping thru every whoop section for years! ?

Maybe but he’ll never be as fast as the top guys even blitzing them. Tomac, Roczen, Seely, Anderson and a few others are on another level

He's blitzed them plenty before, he's just not as quick and tends to drop a bit.

When you compare him to Kenny – who I'd say is clearly the best in them right now – his body position is so so far back, Seely too. Kenny is really far forward like Stew/Reed but also crouches more than they did, he's bloody unreal in them, just tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap.

I saw Baggett make one pass through them last Saturday and the speed he was carrying made it seem like a smooth straight.

Yeah, no, for sure Marv can blitz the whoops... When they are worn down and have a good line through them.

Marvin is one of the fastest and most talented Supercross racers on the planet right now. If you ever see him not blitzing a whoops section, it was a mental choice for him. I've seen him skim a set of whoops as fast as JS7 in his prime before. Marv is amazing in all technical aspects. For whatever reason, they are his Achilles heel, mentally.

Bum shoulder has hindered him in the whoops recently.

Ummm... ya, I am gonna have to call ya on that one. I've never seen anyone in person hit SX whoops as fast as JS7. In his prime he would exit a whoop section much faster than when he entered them. I haven't seen anyone on the track today gain as much mph as JS7 could through the whoops.

It just makes me wonder how many testing hours, crashes, and other things go into riding whoops faster than everyone. How the hell do they go so fast over something most of us won't even try?
Then add ruts and holes and it blows my mind how they do it.
