Never been to a Des Nation, where the events in USA at Budds Creek this much? And do they sell out?

I'm still going, was just curious if more expensive this year?

Looking for advice from previous goers..

GA Admission
Adult $90.00
Child (6 - 11) $45.00

Paddock Pro Pits Pass
Adult $50.00
Child (6 - 11) $25.00

and Parking $15?

Looking like 90+50 = $140?

Are you asking if it's a rip off ? I think it is,

however the MXoN is something everyone who likes moto should do at least once.

I was just about to post the same. Budds was much cheaper even with a pit pass.

High for MX, but so cheap for how much fun it is. For those of you who have never been to a MXoN, I think it is just a ton more fun than a National. It's the Olympics of MX!

Dress like Uncle Sam, bring an airhorn, drink some cold ones, talk sh*t (respectfully, of course) to the foreigners, look out for drunken brits, watch the fast Euro riders you never get to see, pick some underdog country to cheer for in the B final, and scream your head off for your country. The only downside I can see is Lee Greenwood being part of the soundtrack. Crazy shit goes down, both on and off the track. I'd have to be in the morgue to miss it.

If you save $15 a month between now and then...you'll have it!!! That's only $0.50 a day.

I was at Budd's in '07 and more than half my crew ended up with our pics in a couple different moto mags. Stories are still told about that trip on a regular basis. 90 bucks is ridiculously steep, but I'm sure the amount of fun to be had will make us forget about the price in a matter of minutes. It sucks for sure that they're taking it to us fans, the whole reason the race is even coming here, but what are you going to do, stay home?

Yes its higher than balls on a girraffe, but im gonna put the scrills down this week. I would not miss it for the world, especially since my folks live five min from the track.

One thing I really hope the good people at Thunder Valley don't do (besides playing Lee Greenwood) is put up huge hospitality structures in all the best viewing areas, especially when charging $90.

I was lucky enough to get to Italy this year, and I'm pretty sure I paid 70 Euros for a two day ticket and pit pass, which is over $100 US. I don't really remember 'cause I don't care - so easily worth it!

If memory serves, I paid $75 for MXdN at Budd's.

I guess $90 isn't so bad, since I'll be saving a lot on air fare this time...

I hope these guys show up again, and do another track-crawl:

I agree, that is getting up there but it is SO worth it! I'm definitely going. I had the time of my life at Budds. It would be so damn cool if RedBud would get a MXdN!

A bargain at twice the price. Don't forget about the ride days and party at Olympic mx club the two days prior.

And I have a question.

When it says parking, do they mean over night camping, I hope?

I don't know about tents? I am working a deal with the Rooneys on sites for our RV's.

I hope you got a pit pass included with that, otherwise someone pocked the extra $$'s you gave them.

Look at a NBA game for ticket prices and there are a 162 of them in a season.
How about a concert ticket?
If $100 ticket stops you, then you can't afford to go anyway.
The travel, hotel, rent a car, food ,and other expenses are what you should be worried about.
I am hope i can afford it!

Hell, car pool to it, or make it an ADV ride, take a bike and see the country, camp out.

Push them to have free bike parking.

I wish the price was a little lower. I have 2 boys that would be tagging along, but at that price, food, transportation, misc, I'd be looking at ~ $1000 because if I'm going, I'm doing he pit passes.

don't worry about it guys...... just let all the euros outnumber you, won't be embarrassing when they cheer louder, wave more flags, drink more beer on your soil....

besides, you'll probably be able to watch it live on your PC, which is almost like being there.... right? Whistling

seriously, though... start saving now

Oh, now it's ON! As for the beer challenge, I'd take it if it wasn't from a brit. I don't have enough fingers to count the number of brits I saw sleeping off a hangover on Sunday afternoon in Italy, including one laying on his side in short shorts with his nutsack hanging out for all to see. I enjoy cold ones as much as the next guy, but missing racing because you're constantly in the bathroom or passed out is a rookie move.

I will give it up to the Euros, though. They know how to dress up to support their country. We're too worried about being cool and not worried enough about having a blast.
