Blizzard Warning out tonight, Supposed to get hit tomorrow through Friday with some heavy snow. We live south of Denver so not sure how much they are expecting but knowing Colorado we usually get hit hard every March April. Not sure why they scheduled then. but good time to put the snowtrak on the Bike.

It snowed a bit at SLC a few years ago...it didn't stick to the ground...but K-Dub said it was the first time he'd ever raced in a snow storm.

Saturday forecast looks fine...

|

4/9/2019 4:18 PM

Saturday night is going to be a chilly one!! High of 49 and low of 30.

|

4/9/2019 4:37 PM

Well, if we can have a mudder, I guess there’s no reason we can’t have a snower.

All I can think of when i see that set up is the pain of getting run over with it.

Only 2 inches in the forecast for tomorrow and it will be all melted by the next day...

Race day is going to be perfect!

Another thing to note if you're going this weekend: the entire race schedule has been shifted one hour earlier. Doors to the stadium open at 11 AM, opening ceremonies start at 5 PM, and the first gate drop will be at 5:30 PM. This will keep the race in a live broadcast slot on NBC Sports, which will start at 7:30 PM EST/4:30 PM PST.

The weather today(snow) shouldn’t effect the race. The next 3 days are clear but it’s going to be in the 40s around the night show

The Wanna Get Away price on southwest is the only way to go, but I think those are all unavailable or sold out this close to the departure date.

En route now from Charlotte! Headed 4.5hrs southwest of Denver when I land to God’s country with my buddy to see some family of his then driving back to Denver on Friday - VIP meet n greet for the live Pulp show on Friday night! Fuckin pumped bros! I endured the mud fest at Mt. Morris in 1998 and the shit conditions at Red Bud MXdN last year - ain’t skeered of some cold air! Photo

I had the SLC SX Atterisk Card that year with full access. I ended up in the press booth as it was cold and wet!

Airlines canceled more than 700 flights into and out of Denver Wednesday ahead of a spring blizzard, and the travel pain is expected to spread to Minnesota and other cities as the potentially historic storm moves into the upper Midwest.
