Yes agreed .. there is only so much you can hope for at those speeds and with that hard of a head impact. The helmet did its job in my opinion.
It's hard to judge the impact from the keyboard, but I too was a little surprised by the knock out. Being a TBI sufferer myself I hope it doesn't leave lasting effects.
he hit HARD... honestly im just glad he didnt break his neck.. at first glance and watching him roll down the face involuntarily i was panicking for him and his family... how they didnt red cross flag the whoops is mindblowing to me.. (unless the broadcast just didnt show it)..

I was thinking the same thing. It was the last lap, podium already in, red/Red Cross flag and end the race as is.
