I think he'd do really well on Reed's bike from last year, or something similar. Seems like he really liked the suspension on the Honda, and the power of the Husky. Showa or Kayaba suspension on the Husky FTW!
Running on the highway.
Probably he should go to a motocross track to draw conclusions.
Got to love Mitch for helping out these guys on the outer. Hope to see some good rides from Team One5 Motorsports
Maybe he’ll follow in BamBam’s footsteps: get the Honda and end up on a factory team again.
Kawis are Mitch’s fortè, he could probably work some magic on that bike for him
Isn't this what he did before he got his last factory ride? Someone like Wilson would be the first choice for any team if a rider gets injured, which inevitably will happen, so this plan makes sense.
I was surprised by how different his lap times were between bikes.
James = #7. Malcolm = #27

Stewart return confirmed!
What brand did Dean have the best success on in the past? That might be a nice reunion on a PC tuned green bike.
Id bet he chooses the kawi. He was almost as fast on it as his normal bike and seemed to have nothing but good things to say about it
Why would he get a kawi?
He needs something he can mooch parts for: Honda.
I sure as hell wouldn’t be on a Husky that’s for sure.
He said Mitch is helping him out. Seems Kawi would make sense. Whatever he chooses it’s cool to see him put the effort in.
Was never a big fan of deans, until he did this last time and earned a factory ride back. Not that he doesn't deserve one anyway, but if you can't stay healthy it's all for not. I usually don't believe a rider saying he still feels like he's got it because they all say that. He seems to honestly believe in himself and he's made a believer out of me lthe last time. Just stay healthy!

Me too, honestly. I feel like with any experiment like this, there are so many factors it’s kind of tough to say why especially with differences >2 seconds. How tired was he from riding at whatever point in the day he tested each bike, track condition changed throughout the day (there was a clip of them watering the hills). Etc etc
DW15 good luck with whatever bike you end up on. Good to see his attitude and spirit with all the injuries. Seems it worked for Mookie and Barcia and yourself. Good things will come if you refuse to quit.

Lots of Kawi's going up in smoke at Des Nations though.

Because it was mad pit filled with sand. Go ride a bike wide open that can't breathe and see what happens.
Looks like it could be a Reed-Wilson joint venture
the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it
Has it ever been really explained why Deano never ended up on factory Kawi. Was it just bad timing? Seems like it should have been a natural progression...
Cheers, Crush

makes me sad for this sport...
and angry at the 'power' brokers.
great talent gets left on the outter..
but promoters roll in $.
yeah cant sell your own mechandise hey dodgy dave
Funds are getting tight all around. Hopefully Dean gets a ride. I agree with one poster who mentioned him getting with Mitch for a possible Pro Circuit 450 ride.

Not quite sure why I’d be kidding?
How can you not love this guy? Spells out what his plan is, has a great attitude and was very open
on his thoughts. Don't know that I've seen another top pro do this. Good luck in '19, DW!!!
