Just saw on Instagram Dean Ferris has packed the family up and moving them to the states today. Wondering if he got the fill in at Yamaha now grant is injured?

Just saw that on twitter now. Deserves the chance after what he was able to do at high point in 2017 on a bike with some bolt on parts and with jet lag
Spoke to him Saturday, said he had a ride sorted.

Really? Water's is coming along too , very nice!!
As far as Dean goes , man I hope he stays healthy and has a great bike under him. He can Freakin' rail when it come to that deep , loamy type soil , so the national schedule should work well for him.
This is awesome. There is actually going to be some real depth in the 450 class this Summer, at least in the beginning. Barcia and Anderson are both back, I think? The other top riders escaped Supercross fairly healthy. Can't wait!

Yeah Waters posted both in his blog on his Todd Waters web page and in a press release that came out from his Aussie team yesterday that he will race the first three rounds.
Dean did not say exactly who he was riding for, but from what he indicated he has a very good ride.
Wonder who else from aus will be going over ? , at least 3 of them will be doing it out of there own pocket
Who else is heading over? Would be a few that I would like to see over there, namely Wilson Todd, but don't think it would be worth racing the 250 class without factory equipment, 450 yeah but not a 250F.
Clout or Mellross would also be good to see over there, or Rodbell in his own country
, is starting to come on pretty strong in Aus, has been on pace speed wise, just not consistent for full moto's yet, but is getting better with every round
So if it's yamaha is as a fill-in ride for AP7? Once AP7 comes back, is Dean staying there and finishes the season?
Maybe Yamaha will put 3 bikes out there. Or they may never get to that point. Seems like Barcia is going to be starting out with some wrist problems, I think there is a chance he does not race the first couple of rounds. Plessinger on DMXS last week is back in a soft cast and seems to have a very problematic wound-healing situation going on, so there is no timeline on his return. Tough year for Blu Cru.
Australian champion who goes to the GPs to fill in for Febvre, then to the ama Nationals to fill in for Plessinger. The dude is quite a commodity with experience racing in every major series in the world. Wow. That's cool. Glad he will be in the ama mix. That makes it a little more interesting. How about ama supercross? Has he done any of that? Just curious. He's raced just about everything else.
But why does he not have a more stable situation in either the US or Europe? Is he a "bad attitude" guy or undesirable in some other way? I don't know what his personality is like. He is really fast, seems odd he can't nail down a more permanent deal in recent years in a major series. Whats up Aussies?

Jake Moss is the original Factory Kawi rider to loop out on a straight. He was making it cool long before RV.
That was really the golden era for Aussie moto. All the US teams were looking towards Aus for the next big thing, SuperX was rocking along on live TV and Chad Reed was winning championships.

Yep went over in 2014
250 west, went 14-7-11-10-11-10 then came home to to fix some visa issues and crashed practicing and broke his wrist..
Edit: Prob should've mentioned he was on factory KTM mainly as an outdoor guy and was told by DeCoster to just get through SX.. Ironic that it was a mx track that hurt him
I had the same injury as AP on the 27th January and im still on crutches. the recovery of a heel bone is a wild one, I personally reckon we would be lucky to see him back by halfway through the outdoors.
I hope ferris sticks it out there though and they give him a season to finish off
Hands down the most underrated rider.
