Shame he injured himself when he got the red bull ktm deal. Oh what could've been.

Yeah he definitely had what many would consider a successful career I just can't get away from thinking how good it could've been if not for shitty injuries at shitty times..

But apart from that, losing his dad early and doing maybe half the races his competitors did growing up, he definitely did himself and his loved ones very proud!

You know people go on about Herlings goin over and winning but this was just as impressive to me..
Well close anyway haha
This was round 3! All the heavy hitters were there no one could claim to be just trying to clinch a championship.. And he showed em what's what

He was something like 3rd in Qualifying times as well

Obviously the second moto wasn't too great but if I think he thought he'd made his point

Great ride. He mentioned that he cooked himself in the first moto and was severly dehydrated for the second moto

If I remember rightly, he was on his Aussie bike set up too, not a Factory Yamaha.

Yeah pretty certain he just took his suspension over and paid for his mechanics to go with him..
Pitted out of Rock River too I think..
Prob cause Webb was in Factory Yamaha and they had a bit of history haha (The preceding was just my theory and prob not true haha)

Yep that is correct. He later said in interviews after his factory yamaha ride in america that he would of done better on his aussie bike. The team wouldn't let him chnage things, similar to the other stories we've heard about factory yamaha.

Shame about that, I honestly believe he would've finished top 5 in the championship had that been the case.
