He's so mindfucked by Matthes and his disdain for Marty hanging out in the 250 class.

You could see it on the podium. It was the first thing out if his mouth and he couldn't put any other coherent sentences together after his shout out to the haters......

I'm with Matthes, he's a bum.

Yaa he his. Forst thing he says os hes doing it for the people that say hes been in the class too long. Everyone onows hes been in the class for what 12 ywars now. I get it though, hes probably making a damn good living riding a 250f. I would do the same thing, but to say hes doing it for the "haters", shoot hes been saying that for the last couple years now lol and you're right, after that he couldnt keep his interview going lol

I think Jenny kind of blindsided him by immediately bringing it up on the podium, but yes, he looked very awkward and stumbled a lot talking about it.

I don't see how he thinks he is proving anything to his haters though. He's had 12 years in the class and nearly all of them were on factory equipment. He has 4 race wins I think? Hardly a stunning record

He is a professional athlete who specializes in riding a 250 4-stroke.
Should he move up to 450 pull a Will Hahn and burn out then go get a miserable fucking job?

OR

Should he keep doing what he is doing and living the dream?

Dude is making a living and fast. Let the dude ride as long as he can. He would not be making a dime in the big bike class.

Don't blame him, blame the system. In fact, I think they all should be able to ride 250's as long as they want. The sport is throwing away it's own talent pool by funneling everyone into the 450 class.

It's like the NBA saying, "if you don't make the starting line up by your 4th year you have to get a real job and give some unproven kid a shot." ..........but they're smarter than that.

If I had half his talent I wouldn't be floundering in the 250 class for 12 yrs. Unless I woke up one day and said I don't want to strive to be any faster or better, I'm just gonna hang out for the next 12 yrs while my peers push to move up.

3 different sources list his birthday as 1/15/1987. Dude doesn't even know how old he is. He is 29 for 6 more days.

The mistake is treating the class like a second rate series for beginners, not the age of some of the riders. In my opinion. There's been plenty of "small bore specialists" in this sport, and would probably continue to be if the 250 sx class wasn't relegated to "feeder class" levels.

Make the class a full 17 round series then.

I'm with you ace. Would be crazy of him to move up to make wayyyyy less money and be on lesser equipment. As for 1st amendment, he was hardly floundering around

Wow.

So many stupid asses in here.

1. Let me know when you give up a really good paying gig due to the opinion of ignorant ass holes on the internet.

2. Go tell the Factory Teams who to hire and let us know how loud they laugh at you.

3. Dude, do you even bench?
