Any word on what DD is up to for 2018? I know he has been testing for Alta but anyone know if he's doing SX? Such a good talent

I think he said that he wants to race in a podcast he did with Matthes.

Odd that so many seem to THINK they know Darryn's personal habits----even a guy from 6,000 miles away ,lol. That is just fuckin hilarious.
Heard he's going the privteer route, just him a few buddies and his van. Here they are arriving for A1

I thought I heard a rumor that he had partnered up with Steve Matthes to make and sell Berm Nets???

He's actually a really polite guy and very respectable. I parked with him and a few others at one of the local tracks (I-5/ Gorman) about a month ago. Had some good conversation with him about his path he's travelled. I'm pretty sure he'd love to have a good paying ride for SX/MX, but it's just not in the cards right now.
So many riders looking for the same thing and only a couple spots. It's a tough way to make a living, that's for sure !!
Kinda like an MMA fighter, trying to get a UFC contract. You gotta kick some ass and get noticed, keep from getting injured, while training your ass off. If you can do this at an opportune time, you might get your shot. If the timing isn't right, you're back to the grind and making little to nothing for some off Shute events to put food in your mouth. You can only do this for so long, before you gotta throw in the towel......
I love the people that pass down judgement on somebody like Durham. If he raced in the 70''s or 80''s he would be a god. The dude is a throwback. Mad skills on a bike for sure. Good luck to his future in racing. And I would imagine if he gives a rats ass what people think of him.
I just hope he is healthy and out there racing or just making cool videos! He has the best style on a bike. DD has a fan here!
I may or may not of hooked a rider up in 2016 the friday before supercross, somewhere in the 6ix. only the streets of Toronto will know
I think I saw him race REM one weekend.. tiny dude on a yami with sort of long hair and sick ass style? He was by far the fastest in practice then I think he had bike problems
He was born in the wrong era of racing. Hopefully he can pull something together. Such a major talent on a bike.
