Tyler is 33 years old. A smart man nearing the end of his career would keep his Canadian ride. He dropped down to the 250 last year and he struggled.

That wouldn't change jumping on a PC 250.

Different story if you're talking about guys like Jess Pettis or Dylan Wright. Those two are still young with plenty of upside.

Why? Tyler makes a solid living up there. Why would he leave his sponsors for a fill in ride? It's funny how some guys think the series here pays so much better than a series there. Theres a reason why guys like Goerke, Philthy Phil, Mike Alessi etc go north to race. The top guys there probably make more than a 5th-15th place 250 factory rider here.
Umm, because they have no ride in the states

Phil came up because it paid more than what he was offered in the US.

Well he does ride for Kawi supported off road team and Kawi has pulled up off road guys to the MX Teams in the past when the schedule allowed (Dietrich) so maybe you are on to something?

It’s probably a long shot, but what about Brock Tickle. Not sure if he would want to ride a 250 and not sure if he is already lined up with JGR for outdoors. I think he would be a upgrade over any other names mentioned.

I called this in another thread and was trying to push for a test for a third rider who is a specialist 250 rider. It is difficult to get fill in riders with out having had exposure but we will keep trying. Mitch admires tenacity and someone it works to rock up at his office and saying Im your man.

It is hard for these guys and i really wish Darian all the best. These opportunities dont come by often.
