I just saw this on Race day Live . Daniel and Jett made a bet for $100 on the 450 main winner, and shook hands on it on NBC Gold live broadcast. Dan picked Marvin, Jett took Eli. Jett is 15 years old. In my state that is illegal, and they could be charged for it. And Blair could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Was it proper? What will NBC and Feld think. It was even brought up again at the end of the broadcast. I don't know the laws in CA. I don't care at all, but very surprised about it. What do you think?
DB loves parting with his money. FWIW my first thought was that these amateur kids get paid way too much money if Jett can just throw down $100 bets!
The Shop
It’s not like he handed him a beer ... wait I had my first beer at 14 so not quite sure what we are all so concerned over.
Like someone else said if a 15 year old can throw $100 around that fast, amateur racing must pay well.
Pit Row
If it was to broadcast your Douchery, then you've achieved it.
