I don't know if they showed it on TV or not. But last night Juliana Daniel did an interview with Damon Bradshaw. He's working for EBR Performance or something. Maybe someone here knows more details. I was in the hall and saw him on the monitor and could not quite hear what he was saying. Had I known that, that would have been the #1 autograph I would have been hunting down in the pits. I don't know if he's at all the races or just some, or what the deal is.

Maybe someone here can chime in. I'm super bummed I did not know that. I'm not a big autograph hound and just do it for fun if they're being done. But that's one I would have been hunting had I know he was there.

It was pretty bad ass when he won that mud race on a privateer Honda well after his best days were over.

He’s been at a lot of races this year. I think he works for Fly, and can often be found at their area.

Damon had in his stellar moments, so much brilliance, that the great majority of great champions could never match it.

I still have a shirt of him on Yamaha

Hall of fame lit kit.

My son and I ran into him at A1! Nice dude. Was just a kid myself sitting in the stands watching when he launched his bike at chicken! Never forget that.

I was/am a huge fan of Damon, but he did get rattled pretty easy, especially by Chicken.

Won premier class races at 17 years old.... against guys like Ricky Johnson, Jeff Stanton, Jean Michael Bayle and Jeff Ward..... let that sink in for a second.

That would be like some 17 year old showing up and beating Dungy, Villopoto and Reed.

I was at Hi-Point that year. The crowd went absolutely nuts when he passed Ryan Hughs which gave him the overall that day. I’ll never forget that race.

Such a sick photo! His toes are tucked in, squeezing like a modern day 450 guy.

At 17 years old? I think Dungey was riding B class at 17.

what was cool about Bradshaw imo is that he was the first newcomer to really be considered a major threat. before that, the 125 class was not as much a coveted part of the supercross arena, so a lot of guys just got started on 250's. Damon comes up as this "Factory" 80 rider, in all the magazines, so everyone knew it was coming. I watched in Houston Supercross in 1990 glued to the 17, and when he leaped past O'Mara over a jump that no one saw as a triple, it was legitimized right before my eyes.

just a shame he and Rick Johnson didn't see their eventual rivalry, because it would have been the greatest one ever.

Lost opportunities or not, don’t care. Dude was a badass. Easily my favorite rider when I was starting out in the 90’s.

He has been working with WPS/FLY for the past couple of years and I have had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with him this year. Stand up guy that has seen and done it all.

I remember seeing this pic in whatever magazine it was first published in and thinking it was super cool but kept focusing on his rear brake pedal position.

15. Bradshaw beat them all in Osaka Japan

My first pro win: “I won the Osaka Supercross in Japan when I was 15. I battled with Ricky Johnson all night, and he kept running into me. I broke a winning streak that he had, which was cool. My first Pro win in the U.S. was in 1989 when I won the Miami Supercross on a 125. I think that I beat Mike Kiedrowski and Ty Davis. I crashed five times, and Ty was leading the entire race, but I was able to pass him with two laps to go.”
