Is Wilson taking another break from social media as all his social media is gone. Noticed he did this last year around this time as well. Just curious if it possibly parlays into possible retirement from the mec crash.

BUTWHY? would you speculate on “retirement” vs. tuning out the pointless noise that is social media??? I will say that it sounded like Dean is one of those people who just can’t help themselves from actually reading what internet assholes have to say; and allowing it to affect him... much like many folks here, might I add... Whistling

Look... Dean is Dean.... He’ll be back... and tuning out social media in the meantime will only help that...

His snap chat is still up and running. Dude is chilling. Watching Netflix and trying to break land speed records in his wheel chair. Just because he doesn’t post every day doesn’t mean he’s retiring. Usually if a rider doesn’t post for a while they are hiding an injury, in most cases. Forkner is notorious for it, then pops up with an injury or an explanation for absence. If Deano is done, Deano will say he’s done. He’s not gona ghost the industry.

Why he´s not posting on Instagram every day?

Do you think him dislocating and breaking his hip might have something to do with it?
Can you just imagine what the guy is going through right now? He´s climbed out of the injury hole so many fucking times by now and every time he´s gotten back to the top he gets injured again. I think he´s got other things on his mind right now than social media.

Please give the guy some respect.
There is, in my opinion, no better role model for kids in this sport right now than Dean Wilson. The determination to come back, over and over again, while always having the biggest smile on his face and always taking time for fans and media, is outstanding.

Most other people in his situation would, if they hadnt quit already, gone introvert, blaming the world around them for their misfortune and be a bitter and sorry ass to everyone, but not Deano.

There's probably a lot of hate on his Instagram after his latest injury and he's probably just focusing on healing up and spending time with his girlfriend (Fiance?) while he heals up. Social media isn't everything. Let the guy enjoy his life, if he doesn't want to share everything via social media, then so be it. Hopefully he's in a good headspace, always enjoy seeing him do well (yeah yeah someone's going to mention my past with him) but I really do like his riding style and personality off the track.
