My Directv system has a DVR built into it. If its something I want to keep on a disk I have a separate DVD recorder I can record stuff to from my DVR but its not in high def.

I had to double take to make sure someone didn’t dig a thread up from 2003. How is this a legitimate question?

Newmann, before I ditched Spectrum's cable service I think I remember DVR capabilities being like $10/mo extra on top of the general TV package and all the other misc BS fees they tack on. Now only playing them $60/mo for internet service only. I pay $50/mo for a streaming TV service (Playstation Vue which I stream through an Amazon Fire box - no I don't own a Playstation nor do I play video games).. gives me over 50 stations including NBC Sports and CBS Sports (SX, MX moto2s and the GPs) and includes DVR

Even still, I bought the Gold package. $90 for SX and MX. Works out to $3.10 per round. Worth that much for no commercials during the Outdoors alone!!
