Put Hansen on the cover of RX, and the magazine will fly off the shelves faster than bottled water after an earthquake. Kid has a bunch of fans and I bet the mag will sell just as good as a MC cover, just MHO.

Good point.

Maybe he would be out for the Vegas round just thinking about getting the RXI cover?

Yep, umpteen 6th place finishes and 1 win for the season .... that should be enough for a RX cover .....

Shouldn't Wiemer, Pourcel, or Dungey have the next cover? You know, the whole "champion" thing's kind of a big deal...

Maybe not Pourcel since he's on the current one, but Dungey's a given. Seriously, only the 2nd guy to win the championship in his rookie year, only 20 years old, etc, etc, etc.

If not Dungey or Weimer then Windham's certainly a possibility. With him ducking out of motocross, it'll be about the only press he gets until just before A1.

Wiemer, Pourcel, Dungey....those guys are disciplined racers without an exciting story. Well, pourcel coming back from a major injury is an inspiring story but come on Hansen's story is far more entertaining than Weimer's. Dungey's story is a Jeff Stanton story, win championship, win another one, win yet another one...BORING.

IMO ans will forget who Weimer and Pourcel (not Dungey) are 10 years from now but the Legend of Hansen will live forever...

That was funny!

You either have no clue at all or just trying to stir people up saying something that stupid.

Looks like MX Sports are covering the bases on this one.

The photo of Alessi is mine so i am hoping he gets through the first round without incident.

My first U.S. cover came out and Villopoto breaks his legSad Then I get a text from the editor and it says " Carbo cover curse"! Tongue

This last month was all about Dungey clinching the title but KW is the feel good story of the year. I personally think they could share the cover with some kind of feel good story based on the young and the old of sx.

One rider who has never been on the cover, but definitely deserves it is the big 38.
