DC, Any news on the Full Gates....

Just wondering what the decision was on the +45 & +50 classes getting Full Gates at LL's in 2012?

Throw us a bone to chew on, it's Thanksgiving!

I don't think that is going to happen in 2012. There's only so much time in the week and we want to give the classes we have three full motos. The demand is growing and I am guessing there will be enough to make a change some day, but it will have to come at the sacrifice of another class if we want to keep three long motos for everyone. I think the new class added to replace the ill-conceived Mini Development class will be a Two-Stroke class. Will know for sure by Monday.

I don't think many would complain if you cut the 45 and 50+ to 15 min motos to save some time if there were full gates.

PLEASE DON'T make that 2 stroke class with ANY production rules...PLEASE.

The ability to build a 2012 CR250R or a KX500A/F is one of the BEST aspects of modern 2T racing.

A TM300? Cool! Let's see those, too.

A KTM 300XC mod'd to SX? Nice.

Get rid of the girl classes. Mini O's turn out in the girl 9-11 is like 5 girls and in the 12-15 only has 7 girls. Not to mention, BORING!

My wife has always maintained the girls need to race the regular classes offered.

Please note I am getting my ass handed to me by a fast lady in the +30B class here in Iowa!

remember when moto used to be about havin fun ,now everyone wants a new class to be the guy .............too many classes right now ................boys ya sucked before and ya suck now .......... another class is not gonna make ya any better

I understand what you are saying, but as others have suggested I don;'t think there would be a problem of those two classes running 15 minuet motos just to have a full gate in each class. That would ruffly add 1 hour to the whole week, would it not? The extra "class" could be scheduled to run after the 50's, since they all do 15 min motos. Just an idea.

Maybe I can bust out the old 98, CR 330 in the 2-Stroke Open? class.... Hmm.
