Crowd noise in Redbud TV coverage?

Is it just me or in Moto 2 do others hear all of that crowd noise in the TV coverage of the fans yelling and chanting?

However at no point around the track do I see a bunch of fans yelling or any large groups who could make this much noise?

Would they really fake this? If so that is very sad.

If it was not fake how was it all around the track? I watched closely and did not see anyone in the areas where the noise was? Maybe they put a mic in a group of fans and left it on only that one group?

Yes I have been to RedBud, watch the video and show me this big crowd everywhere in moto 2 making all this noise? I see people but not people all along the fence yelling and chanting.

It's not fake. I do believe the mic is left near the podium area though. It gets crazy loud there.

Then that might explain it because I hear the bikes that are on tv at that moment but then you here the fans and it sure does not seem like it is coming from that part of the track. The noise seems to stay steady and not per track section.

After being at Red Bud all weekend as both a fan and helping at a vendor (Fram) ...Red Bud is INSANE. The fans are incredible on all ends of the spectrum. If anyone has a chance to go..go. The fans are way crazier than what Mav or NBC will ever show.

I haven't been to all the nationals, but the few I've been to, Red Bud has a little different atmosphere from the rest. The crowds there always seem to be alot more rowdy. Red Bud fans are hard core for sure. Maybe being over the 4th has something more to do with it...... That place gets FULL.

Obviously Red Bud did not even happen, it was a NASA experiment conducted on the Moon and telecast back here on Earth.

It was fake. They recorded the crowd at the podium from the first motos and replayed it during the second motos. You could hear that it was a loop, it was always exactly the same sounds.

Glad it was not my imagination! Once I saw Vurbmoto commenting on it I kinda figured! It's a bummer they would fake it or put a mic in one section only and broadcast it out there like that so either way it was not a good thing. The crowds at the races are nothing like they used to be in the early 2000's as they were much larger back then.

i love my 'Merica and everything in it. i love Red Bud. but i got annoyed as fuck at the non-stop USA chanting throughout the broadcast. there's being patriotic and there's being a douche. chanting USA on the podium while Kenny is speaking is ridiculous.

I rewatched it and that's pretty hokey. I guess we should expect things like this since new cars are having exhaust sounds piped into the cabin of the car.
