Are you talking about just a carb or the whole kit? I’ve had really good luck from the tb parts guys. I think it’s called tbolt now. A carb by itself is not gonna help. The complete kit however will double the horsepower. I’ve ran these kits for years with zero problems.

I already have the 88 cylinder and am running the stock carb still stock jetting

Ok are you running the stock exhaust and camshaft? From my experience you need to have a complete package for it to make the best power. Just having a big cylinder will help a little but the engine needs to be able to breathe. I know they offer a jet kit for the klx110’s but not sure about the 50’s. You really need a cam, exhaust and carb to go with your cylinder to make it run right.
