Does anyone know where I can get a 2004 CRF 100 complete valve, valve housing, piston and gasket kit? I've been wanting to make a SICK playbike build. Also miscellaneous parts like shocks and stuff like that? thanks!

Fun bikes. Here's my 86 I out together. This is actually a 132 kit with a custom decompression mechanism. Even has a magura hydraulic clutch rigged up. Kx 85 forks shortened and a works rear shock.

Since Stremme put his up I just couldn't resist. I built this last year for a pitbike race. I have more fun riding this one than any of them.

Really good. The KX85 forks are too soft though. I've raised the oil level and it made them much better. I'm getting some weaping from the fork seals though. I'm gonna change the oil and go with 20 weight and see how it feels. I'll probably wind up going with stiffer springs one day.

Go buy a clean used 150R. I see them all the time at $2k or less. Nice ones. Nothing you can do to your 100 is going to make it competitive with a plain jane stock 150R. as soon as you pump the motor up, you will break the frame and trash the (useless)suspension. You could throw a shipping container full of cash at your 100 and a stock 150 will still kill it in a hundred different ways

I had one a few years ago, it was a fun bike. It was pretty stock other than stiffer suspension and a pipe. It was a fun toy. But it was more like a mini-250f than a pitbike.

Nice bikes guys! Yes, I agree that these CRF80/100 bikes when built up make a fun playbike!! Mine is a '01 XR-80 pumped up with a Powroll 121cc kit, with cams, big carb, PVL ignition, exhaust, etc. Amazing how much more fun they are when you go from the stock 6 hp to around 13-14hp!

Since everyone is posting pics, this is my latest playbike build. A 2014 KLX140L.

Are you running a different link in the rear? It looks like you have a higher ride height. Do you have anymore travel if so?

stremme12.....my bike has a XR-100 swing arm (1" longer than XR-80) and a Works Performance Shock. To raise the rear end up to match the height of CR-80 front end, I performed a procedure called the "Aussie-Lift", where you cut the linkage mounts off of the bottom of the frame, and move them up 11mm-15mm up higher. The only issue is the frame then gets into the way of installing the long mounting bolt. So, I actually had a machine shop take a piece of round stock the same OD as the linkage bushing OD, and they drilled and tapped both ends so I could install short bolts on each end eliminating the single long bolt and bushing. The bolts fit right in, and it worked like a charm! Here is a link with some pics on this procedure that I used...it will make more sense when you check this out:

What kind of budget you looking at for this? I have heard the 120cc big bore kit from BBR makes a big difference and I believe is under $300.

I had the 120 big bore and it helps, but you HAVE to get the 26mm carb or its worthless. You can get the carb for cheap, just search XR200 Carburetor.

Thanks for the info. I've read about the Aussie lift before. I've seen TK made a link once upon a time to raise the rear also. You can always throw forks on the 100's but the rear shock just lacks so much travel.

I guess that TK link, if still available, really changes the linkage rates, making the suspension really soft. The Aussie lift does not. I am around 175 lbs, and hit pretty big jumps on it with no issues with the Works Performance shock.
