I don't post on here much at all but this is the time of the year I get pumped up for motocross. The outdoors is what I enjoy most. I live just near Muddy Creek, so Ill be there June 1st. I'm really looking forward to see how it turns out. Anybody else local to Muddy Creek?

I'm near Knoxville. Hoping to make it this year. Have you caught a peak since they've redone everything? Last time I was there was in 2010.

I haven't seen anything they've done to the track. I'm sure it will be nice, I know that they are leaving one section of the track the way it was and adding a "pro" section to the track.

I'm hoping the local hero Mike Brown will be there. I'm sure he will be...hell he may even race. BTW, this is my first AMA pro race, do you have to buy a "pit pass" to get autographs or is that included in the admission ticket?

and jleews6 yes they are fantastic engines. I'm taking the automotive courses at the college that's right near Muddy Creek and my instructor is a die hard Ford guy but he swears by the LS1.

I have a ZR2 S-10 and Id like to do an LS1 swap one day but from what I've heard the LS1 swap in a 4x4 requires a lot more work and $$$ to complete. I'm in the process of finding the right engine. I'm quite picky.

I'm four hours north in VA but I will be there for sure, raced there for years and love the whole area......That would be sick if Brownie showed up!

I'm guessing he will. Home track and he usually races however many rounds is needed to keep his #3. Would be pumped to see him take the W.

Sorry to say guys but I think Brownie is racing Baja or some other off road race that weekend. It sucks I really wanted to see him race there.

If its like the Md. and Pa. races, you will need a pit pass. Not sure if it will be different in Tenn. I'm driving 6+ hrs. from Pa., planning to drive Skyline Drive and BR Parkway as much as possible. Looking forward to it. You guys have a World Trials event down there too the week before. Couldn't get off work for both, you locals are lucky you should do both if you can.
