the atc70 brings back memories. I remember as a little kid around 7 years old, standing in awe looking at the neighbor kids atc70. I liked motorcycles better but I thought it was still cool. I remember him saying "its an ATC 70, its called that because it goes 70mph".... lol

Sorry, I hate 3 wheelers even more than I hate quads.

I remember watching a 60 Minutes show years ago in Australia about those 3 wheelers. Apparently, at the time, at least 1 person everyday was getting killed on one of those in the US. A combination of cool cats not wearing helmets and the fact that they tip over if you stare at them too hard made them a death trap.

My friends dad has a few fully restored ones. They are fun, but they get sketchy pretty quick.

One ride on an early '80's Yamaha Tri-Z as a kid confirmed my heterosexuality.

This is odd, but there is still a movement or a cult if you will, where people still embrace these trikes.

I mean, I personally had a love affair with all things "3-wheeling" in a time long ago, but I am long since over them.

Who would have thought in the year 2014 this breed of fanatics would still exist?

ATC's and Tri-Z's going for $12,000!

Check this out........http://www.3wheelerworld.com/content.php (Ebay/Craigslist Discussion and Linkage) in particular.

I once bought an atc 250R at a garage sale for 75 bucks. It started, but wouldn't rev. Happened to be the slide in the carb was not tracking in the groove. After a simple repair of hammering the slide post back in it ran great. Used it for moto training but would never think of racing such an evil beast.

My friend had a 250 tacate that he put an IT-400 motor in. fuggin thing would do an easy 100 mph. Not safe at all but funner than hell.

My local sanctioning organization recently caved in to pressure and created a class for three wheelers...they run select MX and harescrambled events.

Google Ohio Trike Club...you'll find the local forum

Yeah, that looks like a good idea. They were unsafe at 35hp, lets drop 50+ into one.
