I think it's generally accepted that Craig is one of the best at getting through the whoops fast. I'm curious if anyone remembers him Hitting the deck through them? I'd say between his speed and lack of crashes in them he has to be near the top in the "Best in the whoops ever" conversation.
Mookie used to be the whoop king... but definitely not this year... et3 used to be a beast in them as well.... and of course james was probably the gnarliest ever....

I think I remember him crashing hard in one of the last two seasons through the whoops.
But yeah...2022, he is the king.
I don't see him being any better than the top of the premier class, Sexton, Anderson, Tomac, Kenny.
I always watched Craig in practice and when there was a big set, he was always one of if not the fastest guy through them. His technique and suspension set up are on point and it’s noticeable how much better he is there compared to the rest of the field outside of Jett.
Secondly, Craig has been a beast in the whoops his whole career. I've mentioned this before, but rewatch Glendale 2016, where eventual dominant 250SX champion Copper Webb lost to Craig despite absolutely crushing him on every other part of track, based solely on Craig's whoop speed.
That whoop speed made it hard for DF to pass him which led to DF murdering CC dead in a corner.
I don’t have any memories of TP crashing in the whoops ever though. As long as we’re talking about fast guys through the whoops I have to throw the other TP Travis Preston in there.
Pit Row
Pastrana is a close second. His speed through the whoops of death at Daytona that one year was mind blowing. Stewart wasn't there but if he was he would probably be the only person to give Pastrami a run through them.
Honorable mentions to Craig, Milsaps, Reed

Either way, Pastrana was bonkers in those huge ass whoops.
