Might see him on a 450. Opposite coast rounds. Pending his points in the 250 class

Who fuckin cares?? Are you paying his bills to go to the 450? These 250 comments are annoying, you aren’t the first to notice or say it. Do you have a solution that’ll change the bike he’s riding?

After reading Steve article on pulpmx I share the same feeling than the team manager and agent (whoever they are).

http://pulpmx.com/2020/10/20/what-people-are-saying/

TOPIC: After years at GEICO Honda, Christian Craig moves over to Star Yamaha. Will it help?

TEAM MANAGER: Did anything unlock for Shane McElrath when he went there?

It did not.

There we go.

AGENT: No. I don’t think this is the answer for Christian Craig. It’s not like we’re talking about a guy who never had a good motorcycle to race for the last six years. His teammates have won around him.

Gotta agree with you. Good for him for securing a ride but I wish he would have gone 450. Before anyone says it, I agree its good he found a ride and it's his right to ride a 250 until the end of time. But, no one wants to be playing in BIG3 instead of the NBA. And if he was good enough to earn a 450 ride, someone would have made the space in years prior. Hope he wins a title this year.

I don’t mind someone who’s older riding in the 250 class at all, say someone got a late start in their moto career, but when you‘ve been in the same class for almost a decade....it’s time to move up. Dry

There just aren’t enough good rides to go around. I would bet that a lot of guys would move up to the 450 if a good deal presented itself, but if the choice is move up to 450 and ride for free or even on your own dime, or stay 250 while you can with a factory ride and good salary, of course you’d stay on the 250. Imagine you’re going to retire in a couple years and you could stay with your current job with a comfortable salary or take a new job working for free. What would you choose?

Its a no brainer, get paid to ride or spend your own money. People love to spend others money lol.
