Sorry for the long wait guys, but she is all done, finally!..
For those of you that havent seen what the bike use to look like here ya go.. and the process to becoming one of the sweetest cr250's ive ever seen.. This project cost me a total of $4,700.. so for those who are not in the market for a new $8,000 bike, this will show you that it is possible to own a bike thats, easy and cheap to maintain, looks exactly how you want it to look, set up just for you and your riding style, fast and makes the sweetest noise ever heard on a mx track.. Enjoy...
The bolt pattern on the whole bike has been converted to allen head key with lightning holes that are up to 60% lighter than stock..
The rear shock has been swaped out with a heavier Red spring..
The Carb has been upgraded to a 38 pwk Airstykerfrom jd jetting along with V-Force 3 Reeds
The graphics get a bold new look that scream what a factory cr 250 of today would look like..
A host of anodized red parts from japanese company zeta, the same parts found on the hrc japan race team bikes are fitted for light weight and good looking parts..
Boyesen has provided a trick custom clutch cover with my number and honda engraved on..
For the rims i went with the lightweight yet strong Excel A-60's..
For the hubs the new TCR racing hubs have been put on which have up to 2 pounds weight reduction from any stock or aftermarket hubs.. and are also the same hubs used by Kevin Windam, justin barcia ect..
The finished pics..
oh and i do get it dirty..

The only change I would make: Works PC Pipe
The Shop
What's the weight of the bike? And what does a stock 05 weigh?
Pit Row
Kidding of course, but man, what a good job you did there! Well done.
Should let Shorty take that thing for a spin.
If the engine is still stock, I would suggest that you measure the squish with some lead solder. Most 05-07 CR250's are measuring .080" which is .030" more than ideal. If you mill .030" off the base of the cylinder, you'll correct the squish, raise the compression and lower the ports. These things combine to give the low end a big boost and make riding tracks with technical jumps directly out of corners much more enjoyable, and because you have disconnected the the TPS, the reduced ignition timing helps maintain the over-rev. A lot of good things for a $40 mod. The only downside is that you'll need 100 octane fuel.
