When do you guys think this will blow over and things will be back to business as usual? Meaning, people will be back at work, everything open for business, no lines at Costco, and no 24-7 headline news about this virus, and all sporting events and large gatherings allowed again?
Based on the what's going on with the CDC, I would HOPE we are back to normal by June 1st at the latest... the next three weeks will probably get really bad once the testing starts and cases spike. But I'm hoping once the weather warms up a bit we'll see this thing start to dissipate quickly and therefore the fear should dissipate quickly as well.
Anyone think this thing is going to drag on for 6 months?

My township announced on Saturday that 2 residents are positive. Our township has roughly 46,500 residents.
And yesterday My wife's two sisters and her niece, all three had a fever, (and they had all been together) not confirmed that that is why, but also havent been tested, either way I'm I'm staying away.
This is the world we live in now....

Immediate affects will be 2-4 months.
I predict that after a few weeks, people will get sick of this and start going out again.
It kind of blows me away that political leaders are willing to shut down the entire economy. This could put millions of people on the streets and on the government dole- maybe that's worse than a pandemic of a flu that is not fatal to the vast majority of people. Sometimes I think the goal of the ruling class is to make every single American a slave to the government.
SF Mayor just ordered everybody to stay in their homes except for nonessential needs. Restaurants can only do take-out, groceries and pharmacies will stay open. It's is a Totalitarian wet dream. Maybe we'll even get some troops out in the streets for full-on martial law.

Side note: There's this 1 homeless guy in SF...lives in a box outside of McDonalds near the Giants stadium. Been there for years and every single time my wife and I would go by he'd scream out "nice tits". Wasn't sure if I should be pissed or flattered so I always tell him thanks and btw nice box.

This is according to the governments own simulation of this virus being unleashed on the public.
On Oct 18 2019 they did the simulation called Event 201 the same day the military was in a international Military games thing in Wuhan China.
The Gov knows exactly what it is as they made it in a bio weapons lab and it got out or was let out on purpose.
let the hate begin!
This will change America forever... We will never go back to the "old normal".... I expect things to finally land closer to the 70s where nearly everyone pinched every single penny.... and that is "best case" imo.... It could go the other way as well, but I don't even wanna think about that....
