Simple question, who would win a championship if they raced together in 2023?

I am sure Jett would win because Hearlings only races a couple times every few years. Whistling

Seeing as he didn't manage to get around Reneaux I'd say no. 2024 absolutely, Herlings isn't going to get any better. Jett doesn't seem to be hitting a ceiling anytime soon

He could, sure. I could, if Herlings DNFed.

Would he beat him in a 450 championship run in 2023? Barring injury, no. Really soon, though he will. The future is knocking on the door, and it's bringing Jett with it.

Seems pretty obvious that while Herlings would likely have more raw speed, Jett would very likely beat him in a full racing series due to his more reserved and consistent nature.

Anything is possible, but hardly anyone beats Herlings when he is healthy.

This will likely continue for a little longer, but eventually, someone else always comes along.

In MXGP, 243, 959 and 3 can run with him at times, but not all the time.

In the US, 14, 18, 23 and maybe 9 will win races. If 3 changes his mind and races the Nationals, I don't think he wins the title in 2023, because 14, 18 and 23 will be flying.

Carmichael has said publicly, on air, that he thinks Jett is more skillful than he was.

How do you reconcile that with your durr comment?

RC would also say Bubba was more skilled than him too. How did that work out for James? I'd bet he would say Kdub was more skilled than him. Get it?

RC:s dominance was never about finesse or his supreme technique. RC was the embodiment of insane amount of work, grind and balls out attitude.
