Cord cutters guide to 2018 SX?

Edited Date/Time 1/13/2018 4:44pm
For all the cord cutters in the US, how do you plan on watching SX on FS1 this year? If you know someone who's already subscribing to Directv, Dish, etc. you could use the "Fox Sports Go" app to watch. If not, what are some other methods/subscriptions you can use to watch SX?

For everyone outside the US and Canada I believe it's going to cost $129.99 for the video pass per this package:

Fox sports app never worked for me.
I just wanted until the Morning and watched on YouTube or Dailymotion

How much is hulu? I'm hearing Youtube TV is becoming the favorite because it can be shared with many users (6?). If anyone is up to speed on all the latest plans/costs for Hulu, Youtube tv, Vue, Directv Now, etc it would be great to post here for others.

I'm going to use the Playstation Vue app on my Firebox to watch it. It has a DVR feature as well so I'm going to record both FS1 and FS2 in case there are any channel switching shenanigans from Fox. My company holiday party is the same day as A1 so I sure hope it works. This will be my first SX season since I cut the cord. I used the NBC Gold App for MX and it worked out great! I hope this does as well.

Offroadvideos is great but they are not reliable with Next day uploading.... especially with Mxgp. I waited weeks this summer for some mxgp events. Even that only moto 2 was provided.

I luckily live in Canada and Rogers provides FS1. I have a friend who bought an IPTV service and looks like his streams are high quality

How much are you paying per month for Sling? If anyone else posts, make sure to include the cost of your subscription so we can all become educated on the quickly changing TV industry.

$25 for Sling. (you can add to it if you want)
Sling is giving away free Firesticks right now if you sign up and pay for 2 months. I cancelled my cable last year and have been using Sling ever since.

Canceled Direct TV last month and on YouTube TV (has cloud DVR). 35/month with 6 usernames, but only 3 can be watching at once.

I pay $45 a month for my service for the CORE package. I believe you get both FS! and FS2 with the lowest price ACCESS package at $39.

Man, it must be nice to have the option. No high speed here but have it 1/4 mile down road. Thank God have an unlimited air card grandfathered in or I'd be screwed. Not the greatest but something. DirecTV for me

Fox Sports Go App, but it cuts out a lot on Live Events. I was pissed during the World Series. I did the free trial of Youtube TV for the end of the series and it worked pretty damn well, Youtube seems to have mastered the live stream somehow. I'm not sure why some apps suck and some don't but that's my experience.

I use Sling, too, and don't have any complaints. Since I live overseas, I also use PureVPN ($70US for a 2-year subscription) to get a stateside IP. Works for everything except Netflix and Hulu.

YouTube TV like last year

That's weird.......if you look at the 2nd picture down , that is the exact same picture PS Vue uses when you type in " Motorcycle racing ". Wonder what the deal with that is?

I started with the PS Vue quite a few months ago. I kept Direct TV at the time until I knew I was going to be happy with the Vue. I cancelled my Direct TV a little over a month ago , and I don't miss it at all. I really don't miss the $130.00 bill every month for a bunch of shit channels either!

Lol, what did you try that didn't work? A fast/stable internet connection is required. I believe Youtube TV is going to come out on top of this battle for market share.

You know, you’re right. Actually, both pics are the same. Also, it’s not just when you search but the default image while it is loading on VUE. Kinda weird.
