Look at the age of John and his gear. This is what mtn. bikes looked like back then. They were hand making most of the bikes because there was nothing on the market that worked! John was crossbike before crossbkike was cool.
This era of mtn. biking was just like moto from the mid 60's into the late 70's.

Since breaking my leg in June, I recently started legday on Tuesdays. I'm still sore today. I can't even sit down on the throne comfortably. Cheers Bro! Laughing

Modelo or Pacifico is my daily go-to. CL or Miller Lite are great for all-day drinking at the beach or lake.

805
Coors
Blue Moon
Most Hefeweizens. (Only found one bad one out of the many I’ve tasted. Some off brand from BevMo)

I can’t do IPA’s. So far every one that I’ve tried has been disgusting. I know that’s an unpopular opinion, but I’ve yet to find a good one.
If you don't like a traditional IPA but like life Hef's...try a Hazy IPA. They're delicious!

Tons of craft ones out there but Sierra Nevada makes a good one that you can find just about anywhere. Doesn't have the typical IPA bitterness, instead it has nice citrus infusion, similar to a Heff

You must be really desperate. This is the worst Dutch beer around.

Any other brand will do.

Still, always better than light beer.

I like the Hefs too but they light me up big time with beer farts. They are magnificent in tone and length. For all day drinking though I like Bud Lite and Miller Lite. Pacifico or Sol is really good if I pace myself.

Glad I’m not the only one that thinks Firestone Walker beer is crap. 805 is the pinnacle of garbage, mass produced “craft” beer. It’s such crap beer they don’t even try to identify what style it’s supposed to be.

My go to is Weihenstephaner.
Pick a style, any style.
Their hefe is phenomenal. Hell, everything they make is phenomenal.

No, it is not "craft beer". It's the oldest brewery in existence. Why is that? You ask. Because they have a small number of styles totally figured out.

This will shorten your day at the lake, but I recommend it to anyone who likes good beer while at home.
