What is the deal with Coors Light in the pits ? Always thought is was no doubt the worst light beer on the market.

I'm a bartender and we sell coors light 10 to 1 of bud light ....hell we sell coors light over 10 to 1 for any other beer.

That's why God invented session IPAs! All of the great IPA taste but less than 5% ABV (for most of them).

Edited to add: Sumdood – Coors is shit beer, but that is some cool ass gear.

As I get older I enjoy coors light more and more, I never used to understand why my girlfriends dad and his friends would only drink coors ligh, tastes great when ice cold, gives you a clean buzz, doesn’t fill you up or drag you down

Sometimes I like to sit down, relax, and have a few IPAs from the brewery. But sometimes after hunting with the buddies at 10am you need something you can drink all day. Now if I start those brewery IPAs I'll be passed out by 1pm and my wife will be pissed that I didn't get shit done. So instead, everyone drinks coors light so nobody passes out before the BBQ starts. Same with sporting events. Also, light beer in America is incredibly cheap. If you really don't care what you drink you can get a 15 pack of Keystone for $9 cold in our area.

PBR, High Life or Banquet if I’m only having a couple. For the day long excursions it’s gotta be Coors light, Bud Light, Busch Light, hell even Nat Light.

Y’all must not be from VA. I used to work at a distribution warehouse and if we loaded two pallets of beer, one entire pallet plus a little on the next would be Bud Light suitcases and the rest would be the other beers. Same when I bartended, 10-1 BL vs any other beer. Never understood..I think it tastes like shit, myself.

I prefer Busch Light to Bud Lite, personally.

But for the all afternoon beer while working outside in the summer, my go-to is Rolling Rock. Feels like half the alcohol of most of the others.

Must be the location because in my area it’s about 50/50 Busch light to Bud Light. If you see somebody around here drinking a Coors they are almost looked down on lol

I always made fun of my older brother and his friends for drinking such a weak light beer while me and my friends drank the good Canadian stuff that actually got us drunk. I had a joking name for Coors that the snow flakes on here probably couldn't handle. I quit drinking 8 years ago, and my go to now is that favored seltzer water (non alcoholic) which I call something else to make fun of myself, but again the snow flakes probably couldn't handle what I call it even while I'm only making fun of myself.

I drank real hard in college, now I just want to not be hung over. Bud light at least has real sugar, I don't need high fructose corn syrup in my beer

Coors Light is decent. It's one of the more drinkable beers. As I get older, I seem to be gravitating away from heavier beers. I used to love Guinness, Amber Boch, Black and Tans, etc. but now I only drink Michelob Ultra or Corona Premier... and that's maybe 1 or 2 a year now.
