Maybe not fastest... but when he started hitting the far right he wasn’t that far off the pace in them.

I thought the whoops were going to do him in. He really looked bad in them.

No point in setting the bike up to blast the whoops at mach 10 when it's not your strong suit and everyone else will eventually be jumping through them after 15 minutes anyway because of how quickly they get chewed up.

Cooper obviously doesn't have the fastest whoop speed but he doesn't need it, his competitors do, and those whoops break down so quickly that their advantage over him in that area just doesn't last for the entire race. You heard about the testing they did over the week to loosen up the bike on the broadcast tonight, it's smart. I'm sure they learned alot after Tuesday's race and adjusted accordingly.

Unbelievable assassin with incredible racecraft was 1.5-2 sec slower in the whoops every lap, if there was another section like that one, well you guess.. 😁 Oh and I forgot to mention he’s a shark also 😁

Webb generally sucks in whoops first few laps of main enent, but by half way mark of race he is smashing them putting down his best laps.

He's weirdly inconsistent in them... one lap great, next lap spode-ish.

Was just asking my brother – can anyone remember what Coop was like in the whoops on 250s or on the 450 Yamaha?

Has he always been bad in them?

So the best SX rider probably in the world is bad on the whoops and has to wait to they are no longer whoops before he can blitz them. What’s the point in putting them in.
