Agreed - I was pulling for Kenny this season but it is not hard to be a Webb fan. The dude wants it so bad and is super exciting to watch. His win tonight was impressive. As were all the other seven. Congrats to Coop!

Yeah, Cooper Webb absolutely deserved the Championship. No doubt. He was the most consistent rider all season, made the best of even his worst races...and found a way to win when he had opportunity. The guys race craft is stunning, and he just flat got it done.

Like many, I’m not particularly a fan of Webb as a personality...but as a racer, how can you not be a fan of his? I believe he’ll be the guy to beat for several years to come.

Did I see what I think I saw after Coop crossed the finish line and stopped in the rhythm lane? After he shook hands with Sexton and Musquin he pulled forward to the next jump then stopped and looked back over to the whoops and stared someone out then threw a hand gesture up, I'm thinking that was Roczen he was glaring at and giving him one last "that all you got?" look as he rode off to collect his championship trophy.

If it was that he's an absolute savage and straight up owned everyone this season, mans an absolute competitor you can't deny that.

Seriously? No way any one in their right mind can’t say he’s not the best SX racer this season. In every sport, you have the good ones that raise up their game to be great, he did that this season. Tomac, Dungey, RV, RC, McGrath, etc… all did that as well; Webb has that same “never quit” mentality. He deserves his due credit. Roczen definitely made some mistakes, but Webb took this championship on his own determined will.

This season was really unfortunate. Tomac did not put in any effort to win. Paul was the only one who really tried. Roczen has to many physical problems still holding him back from all the crashes. Sexton and AC are coming and next year is going to be really tough. Eventually speed and consistency will come together for AC and Sexton and Paul will have to figure out how to get faster.

On to Mx where the true men come out in the sport. Where will Paul end up ?

That was one of the Yamaha guys. They rolled up on the first one as he was pulling away, they reached out, but he was already rolling. He stopped at the next one, looked back. I assume they waved him on and he gestures back.

Sorry to ruin the webb wagon party, to me its just funny, all those nicknames in last couple months, cause I’ve seen none of all that.. The speed on sharp 180 turns, ok, jumping lower than most, ok, passed Kenny in the last lap more than couple of times, ok..
For the most JS7 was animal, beast, whatever you can call him, he’s definitley was craziest of all riders known, did stuff what rest 99% of field was aware of, in both SX and MX, and I was far from being a fan of JS7 Wink
