geee...who gives a fuck. yamaha doesn't own cooper. he's entitled to his opinion. he gave yamaha 3 titles and is putting in the work to be the best he can be for 2018. that's all yamaha can ask for.

When Yamaha signs him to a contract they can indeed ask for more than what you are implying. That is, loyalty and commitment while the contract is valid, which it is.

On a side note, CW's titles in 2015 250 SX /2016 250 SX/MX will be his last. He will have speed at times, may even get a win. He'll never challenge for a title though, not unless Musquin, Roczen, Tomac, Anderson, and others take dirt naps.

If this was true, any sponsored rider would not be allowed to like any other competitors Twatter/Instagram/facebook/wankbook pictures if any of the gear/bikes were of an opposing sponsor but they do..........

Why did he unlike it if it's not something he shouldn't do? He obviously either was told to unlike it or saw this post and decided that was a bad idea... either way it obviously meant something more than nothing.

Even more explicitly, I bet Webb's contract specifically states that he cannot be seen riding, endorsing or otherwise supporting a competing brand.

It's OK to privately respect a competitor's product. but to like it on Instagram implies an endorsement of its quality. He elevated KTM's reputation and lowered Yamaha's by a tiny bit when he did that. That is the exact opposinte of what he was hired to do.

By the way, what was Cooper Webb hired to do?
If you answered, "Win races," you are dead wrong. The correct answer?
