That quad was there to jump all day and i didnt understand why guys did go for it. When I saw J Hill on top of qualifying I was sure he did do that couple times. Even Fokner went 3,5 when he cross rutted.

You win. Bubba would wax the 450 field on his 125 in his day

I loved Stew but Webb reminds me a little bit of Mcgrath in regards to his precision and rhythm. He is so smooth and effortless looking on the bike. If he continues to roll like he is, I can see him dominating for a long stretch and winning multiple titles. He is very fast but rarely does he look out of control.

I haven’t watched the broadcast yet but Wilson was doing a quad (table + two singles) in the rhythm for a few laps in practice. Him and davalos were the only guys I saw trying bigger stuff there early.

That is very true... Stew in his day, on a 125, against our current crop of 450's in a stadium? Yes indeed he could teach a few lessons. That would truly be fun to watch..... bash away.

We were right there when Barcia did it in the LCQ, I think a lot of guys were saying it wasn't that hard but in person it was damn big and the take off was very small. However, there was a net to catch everyone who went flying.

I think Coop was only 5-6 seconds off the lead at worst.. don’t get me wrong it was a great charge, but 6 seconds in nearly 30 laps isn’t as mind-blowing as what bubba used to do..

Webb may ultimatly win as many races/championships as Stewart, but it will be more from diligence, discipline and hard work. Not from sheer talent. Stewart was a talent level above everyone. People literally had to copy his techniques just to stand a chance against the guy. To this day, every rider is out there doing the same things the same way Stewart did in 2002...which was new and far superior to what anyone else was doing at the time. The dide just couldn't maintain focus quite long enough to win the number of titles his talent wouldve allowed. Webb maintains gold focus and is diciplined with awesome speed. Stewart was far more talented though. No 125cc or 250cc two stroke has ever been ridden like Stewart rode them.

Not a big fan of Webb's behaviour maybe he'll mature over time but one thing shares with Stewart is his willingness to win no matter what, I bet if Webb washed his front out he wouldn't finish outside the top 10.
