Especially the whoops.. what a ride by him.
championships are won on your bad days, iff this is coop's bad day, the rest is in big trouble

That’s pretty much what I was saying.. extended his points didn’t he?
i believe so and i believe he's 7 infront of Kenny now ( dont take that for fact ) i'm just guessing
Triple Crown helped a lot. Shit in qualifying, shit in the 1st main, made some adjustments and got 2nd. Pretty nice

Technically? Nope, he got 2nd. You can't extend your points lead if you're not finishing 1st...
But he did gain over Roczen.
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not too sure.
I do think if he could have found that extra gear that tomac did in the whoops he would have been right there. Every where else was pretty similar. Tomac was just hauling ass and railing that outside before the whoops.
so you are saying Cooper did not extend his points lead because last week he had 2 points over Roczen who was in second, and now he has 7ish over Kenny but did not extend his points lead? I guess i suck at math than

It is when the guy who beat you isn’t the closest in points

100%. On a bad night he still grabbed second and increased his points lead. Very impressive how he quickly gets his mind over shit and gets the job done.

He lead by 2 points over Roczen. He now leads by 6 points over Roczen. He increased his lead
How was it a bad night/ day...he did not crash...
Did not come back from a bad start from outside the top 20.
RV, 4 th to 8 th, mxgp
If his name was Dungey, everyone would just give him the 1 plate and say "He's managing the championship?

This is the dumbest thing Ive ever read in my life. The IQ thread was made with this answer in mind... wow.
Yeah I agree but he increased points lead but then again Roczen had the flu, so KR didnt do too bad considering that

This.
Webbs result is a huge indicator that he will run the number 1 plate in 2020 if he stays healthy. He looked bad and almost won.
Webb on a bad day: 2nd
Tomac on a bad day: 12th

Webb on a bad day: 2nd
Tomac on a bad day: 12th
And the other top contenders:
Ando on a bad day DNS
Marvin on a bad day 7th or 8th
Roczen on a bad day 4th or 5th (pretty good)
Quite impressed with Coop. Still can't believe he pulled 2nd overall out of the bag tonight after the first moto.
Webb Wagoners lost their mind up in here. This is Pooper Plebbs new normal.
If Tomac is back on, he's going to show yis that the rest of the field is lacking... Plebb didnt step it up.
JA21 is out, Musquin is off pace/ coming back from injury and Roczen... ROCZEN IS STILL PIECING HIMSELF BACK TOGETHER.
Plebbs a 3 - 5th place guy.

Easy on the liquor Lahey.
Tomac and/or Anderson for 2020.....
Webb looks like a racer in a crowd of practice track monkeys. Cooper does what he has to do and not much more. Takes the correct lines at the right time depending on if he is protecting the lead or trying to pass. Doesn't try to go mach 9 when there is no reason for it. (Tomac) Consistently gets good starts. Doesn't rail the wide lines when someone is right on him like so many of these other guys. When I watch him race it's like reliving the little things that my dad taught me about racing when I was a kid. These other guys look like robots just burning laps....Cooper has a plan for every situation.
He's going to be tough to beat.

The way he fouled Barcia’s counter attack was picture perfect.

You may want to rethink your opinion just a little. Webb qualifies in 9th, never looked good in practice or qualifying. Tomac was fast all night, looked to dominate the evening. 1st race Webb Struggles, makes mistakes everywhere and finishes 6th, Tomac comes from 9-10th to win. Race Two Webb gets a good start and leads for a while and gets passed for a 2nd place finish, Tomac wins but not by a huge margin. Race 3 Webb gets a decent start in 4th makes a pass goes to 3rd, Baggett and Barcia tangle, he moves to 2nd, Webb is faster than Barcia and makes the pass to win. Meanwhile Tomac gets a crap start struggles to make passes early, crashes remounts and regains some positions.
Tomac took the overall by 1 point, Webb rode like crap, made mistakes all over the track, but he improved every race, Tomac was the class of the field in race 1&2 but Tomac-like mistakes really cost him in the final moto.
Moral of the story is Webb improved and Tomac did the opposite as the night went on. Webb is far more mentally strong than Tomac is at this moment in history. Who really gained the confidence upper hand here. I would say Webb, he knew he rode poorly and still beat Tomac handily in race 3. Tomac was killing it all day and still couldn’t put 3 races together after getting 2 bad starts and a crash.
Tomac has speed to burn, but mentally he is an inconsistent mess some weekends.
Webb watched and learned every race, that is how great racers think and react to bad days. Eli tips over and pouts.
Webb is certainly an improved rider this season given the new program/bike. He's not freakish, but he's been very solid all the way around. But in my opinion, his greatest asset has been his starts. He almost always starts up front and makes life easier on himself. He keeps that up, he will be hard to beat down the road.
Cooper the obvious favorite to win the title. Tomac is the ONLY guy faster. Tomac not being consistent, well its Coop's to lose.
This started out as the "Dungey Approach" season. Getting past midway and still have majority of top guys close in points. The new era?
3 moto format saved Cooper he had a chance to regroup and save his night. Not all nights have 3 mains some only have 1
