Coolest looking RM

I am in the process of updating my RMZ 450 for this upcoming season. I am getting rid of my black wheels and getting a set of yellow wheels, with uncolored billet hubs.

Also, I am I huge fan of recreating old themed graphics onto new bikes. AktivMX, the graphic company that I use, does a great job of recreating whatever they need to do. That being said, I am looking at a few different options right now. 1998 Factory Suzuki, because I think it looks clean and nice. 2002 Sobe Suzuki, because I have never seen someone recreate that. 1997 McGrath Suzuki of Troy... he was my idol growing up, and I thought it would be cool to have that kit on a new bike. I actually think its kind of ugly, but cool at the same time.

What other cool RM's in the past would be neat to use as a reference for a new kit?

I like the MC bike the best but it probably wouldn't look the same without the seat cover. I would go with the 1998 Pastrana bike. Someone on here has already done the 2002 Suzuki. I'll find it.

The TP199 bike is awesome no doubt.....but to me , Quicknik's RM is about as beautiful as anything out there. One of a kind ....and I'm in love with that damn thing so much!

I am still working on a few small details but I have been building an 02 replica for about 3 years now... still looking for a few items that I am having issues finding... But the 02 kit on a newer RMZ would look great in my opinion but I am biased.... Smile

Those blue/ yellow RM's are era accurate, and look great.

I'm only 26 though, so for me, I really want a mid 90's - early 2000's looking recreation.

These are all really cool bikes though!

Do you happen to know a domestic source for those scalvini pipes? I can only find them overseas. They are a thing of beauty.

Scalvini don't do an RM144 pipe. Their YZ and KX144 pipes are the exact same pipe as their 125 YZ and KX pipes.

I bought the Scalvini pipe for my 144 after being assured it would work. It didn't. It was absolute crap. I lost over 4HP from the DEP 144 pipe.

I'm planning to try it on the 125 engine soon but so far I'm less than Impressed. The fit Isn't great and the thing rusts even when kept inside the house. I don't even want to talk about their carbon silencers Sad .

I'll be testing one of these on my 144 soon. They'll also cost less than the Scalvini pipes. Hold off for a little while Wink
