They will never get $4900 for that. $2500 would be fairly reasonable, but you couldn't just add gas and oil and go ride it. Bike been sitting that long needs a little work before you can go ride, but that is a hell of a deal. I'd honestly say its better off as a museum piece at this point.

Every time I see an ad like this, I always wonder who the fuck would buy a brand new bike and never ride it? Just take it home and park it in the garage, then put it up for sale +/- 10 yrs later for $1,000 less than original MSRP.

While "never had - gas - in transmission" is a good thing. The "never had - oil - in transmission" makes seals that old as brittle as grannys hip bones.

People who have money to burn usually have careers that keep them busy or own their own business.

When you own your own business and things become manageable, you think "oh i have time to enjoy it" then all the sudden you get a fuckton of new business and you have to be an adult.

i dont own a business but my friends do and i understand why they cant ride anymore

Is that better tho. I think I remember reading a few dudes saying the 03-05 Kawis weren't as good as the previous 00-02 gen bike....

I hated the way those kawasakis felt. But damn they looked good, especially from behind.

I bought a 2000 kx250 off my uncle for $800. It probably had 5-10 hours on it.

Yeah but if you buy a "New" bike for the showroom you need to do all the greasing and lubing to them as well, so it really doesn't make a difference.

I had a 99, 03, 05 and 06 Kx250 and the 06 was the best of them all. Not to say the 03 and 05 sucked, they were really good and there was actually a different feel between the 03 and 05. 03 felt like all bottom end, 05 was much closer to the smooth feeling of the 06.

You are thinking the difference between 03-04 and 05-07...the 99-02 aren't even in the same ballpark
